the techinfo locker

CONTENTS:
TechInfo clients for Unix. TechInfo for Macintosh is not in this locker, but is available at MIT via anonymous FTP from net-dist.mit.edu, as is the DOS version.

DESCRIPTION:
TechInfo is Campus-Wide Information System (CWIS) software with advanced search and navigation features. It has WYSIWYG interfaces for Mac, DOS/Windows, and X11/Motif so that information providers can create and customize their own menus.

HOW TO RUN:
Type xtechinfo to get the X Windows version, or techinfo to get the tty version. TechInfo is also accessible via the WorldWide Web: http://web.mit.edu:1962/
