I. ANNOUNCEMENTS
a. katie is now publicity chair
b. i (teresa) have taken over the role of secretary 


II. GENERAL SUGGESTIONS from jsu and ats (the japanese and taiwanese
student groups)
a. decide what our scope should be (are we more geared toward small or big
events?)
b. before setting dates for events, contact cultural groups to see which
dates work best for them


III. WE NEED TO SPEND OUR MONEY THIS SEMESTER TO GET MORE NEXT TERM!
a. more food
b. more advertising
c. maybe outings to cultural performances/exhibits around cambridge/boston

katie will email all the culture groups to see who will be interested 
in doing which events on which date

IV. SPORTS GATHERING 
a. possible dates: sat. 11/17; sat. 12/1; sat. 12/8
b. possible location: walker gym (3rd floor)
c. kickball (or maybe frisbee or soccer)
d. should we offer some sort of small prize as incentive?

V. THANKSGIVING DINNER
a. possible dates: mon. 11/19; tues. 11/20
b. possible location: student center; a dorm
c. we can order food from lots of different restaurants
d. katie will ask culture groups for suggestions on good food places and a
convenient date for the event

VI. VIDEO NIGHT(S)
a. possible dates: any friday between now and the end of the term
b. possible location: 10-250 or another big lecture hall (it's like lsc,
but FREE!)
c. we'll provide dinner!
d. we can either show clips from cultural group performances (*ask dan
lowrey about this*), or
e. we can show movies that highlight different aspects of mulitcultural
awareness and race relations; possible movies include:
	-do the right thing
	-american history x
	-bombay
	-higher learning
	-jungle fever
f. jumaane will ask his film experience professor for more movie suggestions
g. do you guys have any suggestions????

b. ~6-10pm in a lecture hall (dinner included!)

V. saturday 4/13: SPORTS GATHERING

VI. saturday 4/27: INTERNATIONAL FAIR (we had a booth last year)
