BUDGET UPDATE (remaining money for this semester) (a) we decided to contribute $200 from our operations funds to the FSA culture show that took place last sunday (12/2) (b) publicity: $84.25 (c) operations (food etc.): $242.21 (d) total $ we have left to spend this term: $326.46 II. PANGAEA T-SHIRTS! (a) good publicity--we'll buy as many shirts as we can with our remaining publicity funds (b) katie will check with qsrt (contact: mike smith (617) 868-8881 mshirt@aol.com), a tshirt company that lots of other mit clubs use (shirts are ~$8 a piece; we can get about ten) (c) short-sleeve; a bright color like red or tie-dye (check with company) (d) tentative design: i. front: PANGAEA across the chest (in cool letters) ii. back: allison's logo (look online at http://web.mit.edu/pangaea/www/logos/) III. LAST EVENT THIS TERM: DINNER AT RHYTHM &SPICE! (a) saturday 12/15/01 (b) meet in TRANSITIONS @ 7pm (c) a rich experience in caribbean food and culture:)    (d) open to anyone involved with pangaea IV. ELECTIONS (a) present officers will serve in their positions until may (b) at start of spring term, email pangaea inquiring if anyone is interested in getting more involved with our group V. IDEAS FOR NEXT TERM (a) try arranging a face-to-face meeting with culture groups in late january/early february to plan events for spring term (b) help payal plan the junoon concert; possibly get some exciting opening acts (from mit or larger boston community) to join the event (c) more involvement in isa's i-fair (international fair in ~april); we can help with funding, publicity, organizing, etc. that's it for now.  see you guys next week, and good luck with the rest of classes! teresa
