CONTENTS:       cernlib files

DESCRIPTION:    Cernlib is a package of programs and libraries used in
                high energy physics data analysis.  The main program is
                paw (Physics Analysis Workstation), used to manipulate
                and display data sets.

HOW TO RUN:

  COMMAND:      add cernlib
                paw

                Various other programs are available.

  FROM DASH:    N/A

INTERFACES:     paw is a command line interface with an X11 graphics
                  window.
                paw++ is a motif application with full windowing
                  interface.

VERSIONS:       Compiled versions taken directly from CERN are:
                For Sun:        sun4x_55
                For SGI:        sgi_64

                Other versions and other platforms are available, but
                space in the locker not currently available.

DEPENDENCIES:   Sun version needs libF77.so.3
