July 13, 1993 TFIRST(1) NAME tfirst - telnet firstsearch access program SYNOPSIS tfirst [ 1] The optional numeric argument turns on debugging so that the automagic login sequence can be observed. DESCRIPTION _T_f_i_r_s_t provides users access to the OCLC FIRSTSEARCH service. _T_f_i_r_s_t connects to the OCLC service and establishes communications . Once the connection is opened, the OCLC SiteSearch interface to FIR- STSEARCH is started and control is passed to the user. When the user ends their FirstSearch session (with the bye command), _t_f_i_r_s_t exits gracefully. DIAGNOSTICS AUTHORS William D.
