WebEQ Sample Files and Templates

The files linked below can all be found in the ../WebEQ/2.5/templates directory of your WebEQ distribution. We suggest you make copies of the files before editing and experimenting with them.

• test.html -- an HTML page containing a single Math Viewer applet displaying a simple equation. View it with your browser, or an appletviewer to make sure that the WebEQ class files and fonts are correctly installed.

• quadratic.mml -- the MathML sample file for the quadratic equation discussed in Getting Started with the Equation Editor.

• Wizard Example Listings -- the text of the two example files linked below. The examples discussed in Getting Started with the Wizard and in The Page Wizard: Using Macros.
  • example1.wiz -- A simple example of Wizard input.
  • macros.wiz -- This is an HTML source file illustrating the use of WebTeX macros in a document header.

• applet.html -- sample file discussed in Getting Started with the Math Viewer.

• abstract.html -- a sample file illustrating the use of the Math Viewer as an IE5 behavior for rendering MathML. This file is discussed in Using the Math Viewer in IE5.

• resize.html, get-size.html, and change-eqn.html -- sample files illustrating the use of JavaScript to control the Math Viewer. The are mentioned in the WebEQ JavaScript API.

• binomials.html is discussed in the Programming WebEQ with JavaScript.

• popup.html and catch.cgi -- a sample file and Perl script illustrating how to use the WebEQ Equation Input Control and Command-line Page Wizard. They are discussed in Getting Started with the Equation Input Control.
