This is late in getting started! Herein are stats on our beloved Iggy, the green iguana. Iggy was rescued from a third-floor balcony in the Symphony Row area of Boston. He has been given a home at MIT in Room E40-311 and loves mail, though he doesn't have an account. Did I say "he?" We don't really know yet but time will certainly tell. The stats will be updated as time and energy permit, and as Iggy permits. -Ron Hoffmann ------------------------------------------------------------ Date Body (cm) Tail(cm) Weight(gm) ==== ======== ======== ========== Arrival 14 36.7 NA 1/4/92 106.3 1/24 14 39.7 116.6 3/5 15 39 127.3 3/28 134.5 4/1 15.25 41.3 135 6/11 16.5 44.5 184 7/9 18.7 47.9 191 7/23 17.2 46.3 198 * 10/1 19 52.7 325 12/28 24.1 61 482 3/18/93 26.5 63.5 580 4/11 25.4 65 693 7/3 28.6 69 737 10/28 934 1/11/94 31.75 74.9 991 4/21 30.5 78.8 1090 11/18/94 3lbs 1/2 oz 9/23/96 34.3 80 * Must have botched the 7/9 measurement. Body measurements now have significant error as we are not willing to tranquilize the lizard. Weight is close.
