I've written a package which appends quotes (or could be signatures)
to ougoing mail/news depending on who you're sending the news/mail
to.  This package has been found to work with Gnus 5.0.12, Emacs
19.28+, RMAIL, MH-E, and supposedly VM (though I haven't tested it).

I don't know if it works on Xemacs - haven't tried it, but am more
than happy to work with someone to make it work on Xemacs if it
doesn't.  (don't have Xemacs here)

And I don't know how it behaves with September Gnus.


This package has grown to be feature-laden, but works well and is easy
