Another quick way to start a virtual machine in the local console is to use the instant restore feature.
The instant restore feature can start a virtual machine that is powered off or suspended. Choose File > Instant Restore and select the virtual machine to start. The virtual machine must be powered off or suspended; otherwise, the operation fails.
