As you might have guessed from the web address, I am studying at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (no, you don't get a domain mit.edu for smiling nicely to the lady at computer services). I am what we popularly call a lifer here at MIT. I did my undergrad here, and behold, I'm staying for a PhD. What can I say, the Institvte gets under your skin.

I am in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering (MIT talk: Course 3), specifically, the Magnetic Materials and Devices Group with Prof. Caroline Ross.

In my free time (if such a thing exists at MIT) I really enjoy ballroom dancing, and I am a member of the MIT Ballroom Dance Team.
