Georgios Angelopoulos

My name is Georgios Angelopoulos and I am a graduate student at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), pursuing a S.M./Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, co-supervised by Prof. Muriel Médard and Anantha P. Chandrakasan.

Since Fall of 2009, when I joined MIT, I have been a member of the Network Coding and Reliable Communications Group, led by Prof. Muriel Médard, and the Digital Integrated Circuits and Systems Group, led by Prof. Anantha P. Chandrakasan. My cross-disciplinary research interests extend from the design and analysis of energy efficient communication systems to hardware implementation of algorithms and low-power circuits.

Before joining MIT, I spent five wonderful years at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Patras, Greece, where I received an Engineering Diploma (I intentionally don’t use the term Bachelor!).
