Georgios Angelopoulos

My name is Georgios Angelopoulos and I am a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at MIT, co-supervised by Prof. Muriel Médard and Anantha P. Chandrakasan. I received my S.M. degree from MIT in 2011 and my Engineering Diploma (I intentionally don’t use the term Bachelor!) from the University of Patras, Greece, in 2009.

Since I joined MIT, I have been a member of the Network Coding and Reliable Communications Group and the Digital Integrated Circuits and Systems Group. My cross-disciplinary research interests extend from the design and analysis of energy efficient communication systems to hardware implementation of algorithms and low-power circuits. Before joining MIT, I spent five wonderful years at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Patras, Greece.
