Over the past 2 or 3 years I've been getting more and more interested in movies. Here's some movie resources.

Hollywood Movies This is the Internet Movie Database. A very useful site if you're trying to remember a movie. You can do lookups by title, director, actor, etc.

Hong Kong Movies
CYF This site has all the movies that the one above doesn't. It's also where you can find the filmography of the Coolest Actor in the World.

Washington Psychotronic Film Society
WPFS And if the movie you're looking for isn't in either of those places, well, it might be here. When I lived in DC I went to a coupla Psychotronic evenings with Dan and Dorothy and Doug and it was generally a good time. And now that I've learned that my Spiritual Advisor Carl is involved with them, well, let's just say that their play list suddenly makes a lot more sense.

DESPFS Eon and I have our little pet project involving taking turns inflicting that special kind of bad movie pain on each other.

Veronica View Askew are the folks responsible for "Clerks", "Mallrats", and the new "Chasing Amy". People tell me that with my old look, Silent Bob and I seem to be identical twins separated at birth. Find movie clips of cut scenes (including the alternate ending of "Clerks") here.

Hollywood Stock Exchange Rachel showed me this. It's pretty cool. The idea is that you start with $2,000,000 imaginary money. You use it to buy "stock" in movies based on how you think they'll perform in their first four weeks. Rachel's taking a very serious approach to this. I, on the other hand, am building a "theme" portfolio buy only purchasing stock in movies the mere thought of seeing causes me to cringe. Sad to say, so far I'm making money.

Yech! After all this, still can't decide what movie you'd like to see next? Well, Mr. Cranky won't be much help. His opinions on movies seem to be pretty similar, regardless of the individual movie.
