Hydra Rogues Gallery

Here are pictures of the characters in Hydra, an Amber Diceless RPG. For those familiar with the system, note that these are not necessarily trumps. Neither are the people depicted necessarily rogues, but I will let you, Gentle Reader, be the judge of that.

The contents of this page are changing somewhat as new players take the place of old ones. Some of the photomorphs will be replaced with paintings. There are some characters here where only the player and the GM know who's behind the mask. Secrets upon sekrits. Where will it end?

As of Aug 1998, this page is back from the dead (ahem, not implying anything about the characters). In honor of the occasion, the editor will share with you our Top Ten List of Hydra Vampires. Some of these people have clearly never seen the List of things to do if Ever I become a vampire. We were going to include people from the morgue, but that's just for Chaosites. As we all well know, Amberites live such long peaceful lives that there's no sense in having a morgue for them.

[1] Constantina, who like Elaine, probably doesn't have a horse.

[2] Unlike Constantina, who doesn't have a horse, Jarath appears to have a dog.

[3] Windsor might look like this. But we've gone through so many iterations, it's hard to tell.

[4] Diana ought to get a description before she ends up with more silly options than Cyrus (now defunct). Cyrus was for a long time, "the blonde guy", and with a description such as this, the pictures we picked tended towards versions of charismatic surfer dudes. (Yeah, the last two aren't blonde, but that's fixable.) We went through even more iterations with him than we did with Windsor.
