Your GradRat features the degree you earn in the Department shank.

We worked with the MIT Registrar's Office to obtain a list of all the degrees officially offered by MIT. These are:

PhD - Doctor of Philosophy
SM - Master of Science
MBA - Master of Business Administration
MEng - Masters of Engineering
MArch - Masters of Architecture
MCP - Master of City Planning
ScD - Doctor of Science
Eng - Engineer
If your degree changes after you get your GradRat, it can be changed free of charge
