GSC Resolution
--------------
* We have the GSC resolution drafted up.
* Stephen will send it to Eric Weese.
* We will present it to the GSC GCM next Wednesday, Feb 01, 2007, 5:30pm,
  50-220.  If we can all be there, that'd be cool.

Peer Institutions
-----------------
* We looked at graduate P/D/F options at a few other universities.
* Berkeley has an option similar to what we are proposing.  The option is open
  to all subjects, though the number of subjects taken on pass/fail may not
  exceed a certain limit, and students require the permission of their
  department to take such subjects.
* Stanford has distinct notations for a "pass" for subjects that are pass/fail
  for everyone, and subjects that are normally for-grade but a student has
  elected to take it pass/fail.  We may wish to consider that option. 
* Caltech allows its departmetnts to decide pass/fail policies for graduate
  students.
* We should continue looking at other universities, too.

Proposal
--------
* Let's put in the Stanford option into the proposal as one idea.
* Put our names, website, and contact info on the proposal.

Action Items
------------
* Edit proposal, and send it, along with the GSC resolution, to Eric Weese.
* Reconvene in three weeks or so to consider feedback at the Feb GCM.
* Refine the PowerPoint slides during February for that meeting.
