Introduction

Welcome! The MIT Curling Team provides support and training to members of the MIT community interested in learning and pursuing competitive curling. We currently practice and compete in Broomstone's Chowder Bowl every Friday from 4-10pm.

History

The MIT Curling Club is in its first year of existence. Our lack of experience is made up for by enthusiasm and our hope of competing on the collegiate ranks in the near future.

The idea for our club was conceived by our founder in 1998, when curling was officially recognized as an Olympic sport. In spring of 2000, a group of MIT undergraduates began practicing and learning the sport of curling from the Broomstones Curling Club in Wayland, MA.
