Prom for College Students!
Sheraton Boston Hotel, 39 Dalton St, Boston: Saturday, May 8th, 2010 7:45PM - 12:30AM
High school prom is cool because everybody drinks out of poland spring bottles. College prom is way cooler because you can drink in the open and stumble around without having the principal call your parents and to send you home. If you want to sit at the cool table, and by cool table I mean a table with your friends, click here!

Why pub when you can club?
Updated Mar 4th by 2010 Class Council
Club Night
Saint, 90 Exeter St between Boylston and Newbury, starts at 9:30 pm!
Pubbing is so overrated, where did they even get the word pub? Now clubbing, that sound cool. It makes me think of beating things up, like when Vinny fights the beat on Jersey Shore. Guys, put on your favorite Ed Hardy shirt and gel your hair until its bulletproof, we have a situation (registered trademark). Seriously though, i love sitting drinking beer as much as the guy next to me, Hulk Hogan, but we agree that sometimes you just gotta Stomp the Yard.
Even more serial, Fridays at Saint are called Heaven Fridays; 3 lounges (one private for MIT 2010 until midnight) 2 x Dj's spinning.
Why do clubs always say dress to impress? What does that even mean? what if i think a penguin costume will impress my friends?
Well, since we're dressing like we're going to the Jersey Shore; dress to impress is a non-issue.
Doors open at 9:30, no cover until 11pm with MIT 2010 ID!! $10 cover after 11pm.
Free Drink Vouchers for the first 200!

Senior Spring Has Arrived!
Updated Jan 25th by 2010 Class Council
XVI
An Tua Nua, 835 Beacon Street. Starts at 10pm!
Sometimes I look outside and have no idea what time of year it is; then stumble into a stationary object and remember it's Senior Spring in January and I'm ready to go to An Tua Nua.
Doors open at 10 and DJ starts at 10:30! We've got the champagne of beer for only $2.50 a draft! When did champagne get so cheap (thank you recession!)? If cheap Miller High Life isn't enough, there's also a handful of $5 dollar cocktails to choose from! Be careful though, they'll sucker you in for the $8 amaretto sour if you look inebriated...

DAPER Field Day, Friday April 24, 3-5pm
Collaboration between the Undergraduate Class Councils, Student Activities Office and MIT Recreational Sports to bring back a version of the Johnson Games and the Field Day of the 1940's held at MIT. The event will start off with a spirit rally and introduction of the events.
Each class and Recreational Sports will host an activity where prizes will be awarded. We'll be hosting WATER DODGEBALL!!!
There'll also be an "Amazing Race" type of event: 5 Teams of 5 per class begin at a central location and complete a single task or answer a single question to get the first clue. Then based on that clue, they spread to the rest of the activity locations.
At each location, teams complete physical/mental challenges.
If you are interested in having a team of 5 participate, or captaining a team, to represent the Class of 2010, simply reply back to this email and let me know ASAP! (There are only 5 team spots, and they may fill up fast!)
