MIT Local Phone Services Change:

Starting in Fall 2005, the MIT dorm telephone services will be changing.  The basic service (which is free) will support only calls to and from the MIT campus.  The full service will support incoming and outgoing local calls and will cost $17.00 a month.  Long distance and international service will also be available with full service.  There is also a $25.00 activation charge for full service if you do not sign up before September 10, 2005.  To register or get more information go to: web.mit.edu/ist/tel/changes.html
