"Then I'll tell you. The world thinks Cyberspace is a subset of
Realspace; it thinks that all this exists in the form of little bits
of data scattered across a computer network somewhere.
"But the world is wrong! Computers are only the gateway. Cyberspace
is another place entirely! An empty place, ready for
colonization. Even better than Mars, since you can get to it via
computer."
"Boy, you must be really confused if you believe this stuff."
"Cool! Really? A parallel, empty universe? Another dimension?"
