The MIT Aikido Club - News and EventsSeminar for Dick StroudJANUARY 19, 1997
Taught by Kanai Senseiand the Instructors of New England Aikikai MIT's DuPont Gymnasium, upstairs Located behind the Stratton Student Center off Massachusetts Avenue
It is a great honor for us that Kanai Sensei of New England Aikikai has agreed to lead this seminar. Professor Kanai is one of the last teachers to have studied with the founder of Aikido and has been teaching in the Boston area for over 30 years. He is technical director of the United States Aikido Federation and is very highly regarded in the world wide Aikido community. Dick began studying with Kanai Sensei over 25 years ago, and we consider New England Aikikai to be our parent dojo. We are very happy to finally be able to have him teach at our club. The seminar will be held upstairs in MIT's Dupont Athletic Center, in the combined wrestling room and activities room. The entrance to DuPont is on the back right-hand side of the MIT Student Center, which is located across from MIT's main lobby at 77 Massachusetts Avenue. Parking should be available along Vassar St., Mass. Ave., Memorial Drive, or in various MIT parking lots. There will be no charge for the seminar.
