The need for change
As three newly arrived MIT
students, we found ourselves fortunate to benefit from its world class
lecturers and facilities - a feat which unfortunately is not widespread as
there are currently less than 100 Portuguese students studying at
top tier US
universities. With that in mind, we created the MIT Portuguese Leaders
of Tomorrow Club with the desire to increase this number and in due
time to witness the ripple effects of our contribution in both Portugal’s
and America’s societies. We believe that there is plenty of opportunity
for all parties involved to benefit and contribute towards our vision.
