Subject: documentation and functional spec

I have revamped the Argus documentation structure a lot. This is what it
looks like:

There is a directory /mit/lens/doc which contains

	func-spec man

func-spec contains the main files for the functionsal spec. The files in
this directoy include some of the files in ../man/scribe. If you plan on
copying this directoy pleas copy the entire tree rooted at /mit/lens/doc so
you will get all of the included files. All file names are relative.

The directory /mit/lens/doc/man will appear in every release as ./man
under the release directoy. We do this so that as the documentation changes
users will have the appropriate documentation for a particular release. I
have not copied the man directoy to the current release because it is way
out of date.

Please look through the directoy /mit/lens/doc/man/scribe for files which
describe one of your experises and update it. If you feel that there should
be a new file (and there should be lots more) do this:

1) create the file in the directoy
2) do "rcs -i -L -arap,maya,mackay,thm,bgardner,jbs <file-name>"
3) do "ci -u <file-name>"

Note that all these files use RCS and you must check them out, edit them,
and check them back in again. A summary:

to check out a file

	co -l <file-name>

to check it back in

	ci -u <file-name>

Please be sure to check files back in so that other people can edit them as
well.

Oh, neither of these directories have Makefiles yet. I am putting them in
now (with README files) but may not be finished untill later.
