Meeting reminder -- Thursday 4-6 -- E40-382. I've invited
Dave Carver, a new person from DEC assigned to Athena, to sit in

I'll send out an agenda for the meeting tomorrow, but one of the issues
that I need to deal with ASAP is the layout of the workstations.

So: Thursday, 1:00 pm Work on Hynes layout. Join me if you can.
(E40-382) (First pass, for review at 4:00 meeting)

News:

Bob McKie has generously lent his office and video workstation to the
cause (thanks Win!). Brian has the key and will be able to actually
get his code running on a video workstation.

I am going to need surgery to remove the phone from my ear -- but
I'm making some progress on the equipment. More on Thursday.

OSF gave $50,000 cash to Athena to support Lens. So, despite notices
to the contrary, the project is definitely legitimate, funded, and
OK. I'm working out office space/budget/disk space issues with Jackie
and should have some positive resolution on all this in the next
few days. This is good news for both Lens and Pygmalion.

Bob Lee sent out a notice asking for volunteers to help with SIGGRAPH.
(Next email message). Some really good people have volunteered
already and I expect more.

IF YOU SEE A NEED FOR SOMETHING, LET ME KNOW AND I'LL CONNECT A PERSON
WITH THE PROJECT.

Thanks.

Wendy
