Sorry I have been so long getting back to you. 

The Video widget was never built against X11R2 it has always been used
with R3 libraries.  You still need to get the video extension stuff from somewhere, 
this is not part of the standard system and you will need to find it
elsewhere.  I have not worked on video stuff for about six months.  You should
probabally get in touch with someone who is using video more
frequently.  I would suggest asking Paul Boutin (paul@athena) about this, perhaps he
can put you in touch with someone who can help you.
