Dearest Brian,

OF COURSE I am still talking to you...jeezow...you'd think I was a
heartless, senseless slob......I will repeat one more time...I don't blame
you for anything. I'm just still a little down about the whole thing so you'll
have to excuse me if I sometimes ramble about it. I'm not even sure I blame
Joe for anything, actually I don't blame him for anything, actually I'm just a
little hurt that it seems like he didn't tell me the truth and that he was a
bit dishonest with me. As far as I can tell his reasons for what he may have
done were reasonably noble, but I just wish that if he *did* lie to me that he
would have been honest. I much prefer honesty to padded egos.

Anyway, I wrote to him telling him to call or write me so we can talk
and clear this matter up, because I still would like very much to share a
friendship with him.

So, what happened Saturday that has you bummin? Actually, the dance was
kind of odd for me all the way through. The information about you and Joe just
seemed like icing on the cake...sort of a coup de grace. I'm still feeling
rather directionless, still don't know where I'll be working, and still don't
know quite what I want to do about anything. I guess an indication of the way I
was going at the dance would be that by the time you and Joe had arrived I had
downed three large wine coolers....one of those nights.

Andy was there with Rich Braun, and would you believe, after everything
I've felt so sure about with regards to that situation it bothered me? I guess
it was more because I felt sort of left out and I've really been missing the
concept of having someone to curl up with and Andy was the last so it sort of
struck me a little. It was the first dance where I didn't have Tim to lean on
when I needed it. I had managed to arrange to not be dealing with a lot of the
organizational part and had gone with the intention of having fun and not
worrying about a thing, and then I was sort of melancholy all night, sigh, you
can't win them all. I had even given up a chance to go see the Indigo Girls for
free in Connecticut where I would have been able to meet them again after the
show and just generally be a groupie.....apparently Niki and Compnay had a
really great time, so I missed out on that. I guess I should have listened to
my first instinct and punted the dance all together and gone to Connecticut.

Oh well, enough rambling for now. I don't want to take up TOO much of
your working hours :-)
Have fun, write back, call me, and just generally don't be a stranger.

						Hugs And All,

								Rob

P.S. If you happen to see/talk to Joe before I do, tell him I'm NOT mad at him,
and that I just really want to talk and straighten out a little bit of hurt
feelings and all. Thanx.
