Subject: Third floor frig

On Thr, 21 Sept at 11 am the 3rd floor frig will be
cleaned. Same rule as always. Now for those of you
who are new, here are the Rules.

At the announced time, I take EVERYTHING out of the
'fridge and clean it. Anything that is obviously
spoiled is discarded at once. After the 'fridge is
cleaned, I replace any food that is *clearly* labelled
with owner's name and the date. All other food is left
on the counter. The owner may show up to claim it and
replace it. Unclaimed food is up for grabs, or may be
discarded.

The intent of these rules is to make it easy to keep
the 'fridge clean (an awful task, but one that needs
doing at least monthly). In particular, it spares the
cleaner the responsibility for chasing people down to
ask them whether a given item is 1) theirs and 2) still
wanted.

If you don't like these rules, and want to clean the
'fridge yourself, I'd be delighted to hand this job
over. I'd also welcome assistance when I clean.
