I am very concerned about future problems with this design, when
Kerberos may change to allow all the weird sorts of ticket lifetimes
recently discussed on the kerberos mailing list. I think definately
Dan's message should be forwarded to kerberos@athena so everyone can
offer their insight on the possible ramifications for the V5 protocol
draft.

However, as this is a staff mailing list, I won't continue on with
this foolishness.
