(wildcards) Out of curiousity, how many fonts were you using for your program which you sped up so much? I have never noticed wildcards causing me inordinate amounts of time on startup. However, if your application required a large number of fonts, then I suppose that could cause a slowdown. But your time figures surprise me nonetheless. -JIM
