yeah, but that's SOP practically anyplace... when I was working at RCA
they made us sign a thing saying that we would be anally correct on
our time-cards when doing govt. funded work. Of course we weren't actually
doing such work at the time. When I asked what would happen if I didn't
sign (in the middle of an auditorium filled with 100s of stone-faced
fellow employees that were getting too sheep-like) they just said that
they 'would refer it to my supervisor'. Of course he said that he would
refer it back. Eventually I got the idea that I would either be snagged
up in red tape or 'talked to' if I didn't sign, so I did. I continued to
cheat on the time cards, even though they told us that randomly, after hours,
little corporate mole-men would do spot checks. Yecch. In a way you could
look upon this as preparation for reality. When are they gonna want urine
samples?
