Your terminal is brain-damaged and cannot not function properly  without
flow   control   for   many  applications.   Consequently  the  hardware
interpretation of ^S and ^Q cannot be turned off.  Therefore incremental
search,  quote  insert and file save have been bound to other keys.  See
