QUESTIONS RELATING TO RVD/WORKSTATION


-what is the attitude of athena about informing users about how to back
  things up and what about timesharing machines while the changes are
  taking place, etc.  
-how much information should we provide about commands that really
  aren't necessary until things go bonkers? 
-should we make it very clear (in an honest fashion) why things are
  changing?
-maybe there should be some really big overview of the differences
  between the old way and the new way?
-should we get something around here to back things up onto tape so
  that we can get used to it early (since we have to write about
  it...)?
-what kind of machines are going into the general clusters?  where do
  we talk about the compatability/incompatability of at/mvax stuff...
-can storage amount be changed on rvds? who is going to administer
  them for the public stuff?
-should we include "df" in the documentation as a way of checking
  locker quotas?
-when do the '*' and '%' notated packs get spun up?
-should we tell users to put 'up' and 'down' in '.login' and '.logout'
  so their lockers are mounted automatically (it says this should
  happen in the rvd man page...)
-why do you always have to logout and then log back in again before
  you can spin your lockers down??
