Athena will start off running Ingres Version 2.1.  Sometime during the
fall term, 1985,  Version 3.0 is supposed to arrive.  Those parts
of the @i(Introduction to Ingres) manual that deal with 3.0-specific
features are not relevant until then.  Most of the material
in @i(Introduction to Ingres) is relevant, except the chapters
on INGRES/MENU.

Currently, EQUEL only works with C and Fortran under Unix, not
Pascal.  (It also does not work with Basic or Cobol, but Athena
does not support these languages.)

Ingres graphics will not be available.
