Two columns in EZ is not yet supported. If you have a little bit of text that you would really like in two columns, however, there is a little hack that you can perform to simulate two columns. Where you want two columns to begin, insert the following lines: .ll 3i .mk then highlight them with the mouse and select "Format Note" from the Region menu card. Then type the text you want to be in the left column. When you want to move to the right hand column, type the following lines: .po 4.25i .rt and highlight them and select format note as you did before. Any text that follows will be in the right hand column. When you wish to return to regular mode (default margins), type the following lines: .po .ll and select them as a format note. The .ll sets the horizontal line length (i = inches) The .mk marks the current vertical position The .po sets the page offset (left margin - .5 inches) The .rt returns to the marked vertical position The numbers 3.5i and 4.5i can be adjusted to your taste. One final note: do not use this for text that is intended to be more than one page long, as the hack does not account for that.
