Unfortunately, only Scribe 5 has a working driver for the Xerox 9700 to use it, you must do: add scribe5 Include the following line in your file to set the device: @device(x9700) Simply invoking scribe as scribe5 filename.mss -device x9700 will do the same thing, overriding any @device command which may be present in the file. There are 4 different fontfamilies available on the 9700: Timesroman10 Helvetica10 Timesroman12 Helvetica12 (The numbers refer to the type size; 12 is a bit larger than 10.) They are set with the line: @style(fontfamily Timesroman10) It is important to include the following line in your file: @style(singlesided) This is to work around a bug in the printing software.
