In order to force a page break in a document, hit return to start a
new paragraph.  This paragraph will initially still be on the current
page.  Now select "Paragraph" from the "Format" menu.

On the right side of the format dialog window you should chance the
Start: value to be "Top of Page".  Then, making certain that only
"Current Paragraph" is selected from the "Apply To:" options, click on
"Apply To:".  The paragraph/text cursor should now be at the top of a
new page.
