Where does FrameMaker create the file fmfilesvisited?

   Issue 
   Where does FrameMaker release 5 create the file fmfilesvisited? Also,
   is it possible to have the this file created in a place other than a
   user's home directory?
   
   Solution
   If no files are opened during the first session of FrameMaker
   (following installation), FrameMaker will create the file
   fmfilesvisited upon exiting this first session and the file will
   remain empty. When this file is created it could be written to one of
   the following places:
   
   $HOME/fminit/UILanguage/configui/fmfilesvisited
   $HOME/fminit/UILanguage/fmfilesvisited
   $HOME/fminit/fmfilesvisited
   $HOME/fmfilesvisited
   
   (UILanguage refers to the User-Interface language directory, i.e.
   usenglish, francais, etc.).
   
   The longest pathname is the correct place to have the file built.
   FrameMaker will search for the configui directory first and then
   attempt to locate the UILanguage and fminit directories. If none of
   these directories exist, FrameMaker will create the fmfilesvisited
   file in the user's home directory.
   
   Once any FrameMaker files are opened, this list of files is kept in
   memory during a FrameMaker session. When the session is ended, this
   information is written to disk in the fmfilesvisited file. The next
   time any Frame processing product is opened, this particular list will
   appear under the File menu.
   
   If you would like FrameMaker to create this file in a directory other
   than your home directory (ex. when many users are running under the
   same login name), you can set the X resource:
   
   Maker.filesRecentlyVisitedPath: path_to_fmfilesvisited
   
   This commented-out X resource already exists in the Maker file
   ($FMHOME/fminit/xresources/Maker) however the resource can be set in a
   variety of places (please see p.3 of the online manual Changing Setup
   Files for the search order FrameMaker uses). The resouce is expected
   to contain a complete file path.
