The command to send the contents of a window to a printer is 'xdpr'. First, make sure that the window you want to print is entirely visible on the display. Then type this command in any available 'xterm' window: xdpr -Pprinter Where 'printer' is the name of your favorite PostScript printer (all of the Project Athena printers are PostScript printers). In a few moments, the mouse pointer will change to a "cross" shape. Move the mouse pointer to the window you want to print, and press any mouse button. The workstation will immediately "beep" once, which indicates that 'xdpr' is starting to make a copy of the window's image for printing. Then the workstation will "beep" twice, indicating that the image has been copied and is to being sent to the printer.
