If you receive the error message:

	XIO: Broken pipe

...you are trying to run an X Window System program on a system that has not
been given permission to create windows on your workstation's display.

You can use the 'xhost' command to give a remote system access to your
display.  Type the following commmand at the system prompt of the workstation
you are currently using (not the machine you are using remotely):

	xhost machinename

...where 'machinename' is the name of the remote machine from which you want
to create windows.

In the future, you may want to use 'xlogin' instead of 'rlogin':

	xlogin machinename

This command automatically runs the 'xhost' command, then creates a new
'xterm' window on your screen, and performs the 'rlogin' to the remote
machine.
