SP　１　—atte　　 (casual style of ‘-te mo’)

　１　どんな仕事をさせられたって文句を言うわけにはいかないんです。

　　　　　 No matter what kind of work I am required to do, I cannot really complain.

２　何日も寝なくたって平気だよ。

　　　　　 Even if I hadn’t slept for many days, I’d be fine.

３　コンテストに出ろって言われたって、わたしなんかにはできませんよ。

　　　　　 Even though you told me to participate in the contest, someone like me would not be able to do it.

４　　　 英語が苦手だって言ったって、わたしよりはずっとうまいわよ。

　　　　　 Even though he said he was not good at English, he is far better than I.

５　　　 いくら交通の便がよくたって、そんな高いレストランを予約したら、みんな困っちゃうよ。

　　　　　 Even though it is located in a convenient place, everyone would be in trouble if you made a reservation at such an expensive restaurant.

SP2 –ないうちに

１　　　 お客さんがいらっしゃらないうちに、部屋をかたづけよう。

　　　　　 Before the guest comes, let’s clean the room.

2　　　　 私が晩ご飯を食べ終わらないうちに兄が帰って来た。

　　　　　 Before I finished eating dinner, my older brother came home.

3　　　　 面倒なことを頼まれないうちに、消えちゃった方がいいよ。

　　　　　 Before you are asked to do troublesome things, you’d better disappear.　

４　　　 大学を卒業しないうちに海外旅行をしておけよ。就職したら長い休みは取れなくなるから。

　　　　　 You should travel abroad before you graduate from college because you won’t be able to take a long vacation once you find employment.

５　　　 起こされないうちに起きなさいと母から言われているが、やっぱり無理！

　　　　　 My mother tells me to get up before I am forced to get up, but it’s impossible for me!

５　　　 弟に将棋（しょうぎ）の相手をさせられないうちに、出かけようと思っていたが、玄関（げんかん）の戸を開けたところを見つかってしまった。

　　　　　 Even though a parent may want his child to become something like a doctor or professor or lawyer, nothing can be done if the child does not want to be one.

５　　　 どうしたらピアノを動かせるかなあ？こんなトラック、私じゃ運転できないし、彼に運転を頼むとか、または、ピアノの引っ越し専門の人を探すとか？

６　　　 今晩は何にしようか。焼き肉と一緒にワインとか？どう？

７　　　 彼女のために何をしているかって？そうだなあ、例えば、誕生日には忘れずにカード書くとか、時々僕が料理してあげるとか、そんなことかなあ。
