I just came back from a Meningitis shot with a sore arm, and thought I
shouldn't suffer alone. The Johns Hopkins Travel Clinic - a very
knowledgeable place - says there is a recent outbreak of meningitis in
west Africa and they recommend a shot. Perhaps you might
look into it... Also Malaria pills are a must. They've given me
Mefloquine.
