    HI!

    Just a note to announce the broadcast premiere of
    SISTERS IN CINEMA. A segment that I created for
    SPLIT SCREEN, a cable series that focuses on
    independent filmmakers.

    I am working on a feature documentary on the history of
    black women directors from the early part of the century
    to today. John Pierson, producer of SPLIT SCREEN,
    gave me some funds to produce a fundraising trailer
    and a segment for his series. I focus on early makers
    and include interviews with Julie Dash, Darnell
    Martin and Bridgett Davis.

    Episodes 7, 8 and 9 of Split Screen will premiere on
    Friday, August 15th starting at 10pm (EST) on BRAVO
    as part of an IFC Friday.

    Sisters in Cinema is in episode 9, which means it will air
    from 11-11:30pm on the East coast.

    10:00 -10:30 here in the Midwest and I'm not sure
    about the west coast. I'm the last part of the episode.

    Episode 9 will premiere on IFC on Oct. 27th.
