EXPLANATIONS:  

GOD (Tualoha or Chthon -- who are we talking about?)

GATE(Status:  Closed, Open, Destroyed)

BOUND (Is (s)he?)

POWER:  For gods, this is a relative measure of how much the god can affect
 what's going on if invited to do so.  Note that if uninvited, the gods can
 do nothing under most circumstances.

 For magic, it's a multiplier on the base cost of a spell, which is 10
PP for a minor arcanum and 20 for a major arcanum.  Thus, currently, a
white minor arcanum is worth 5, a black 20, a clear 10.

CONTROL:For gods, it's a relative measure of how well you can communicate
with the god, to get your message across, and be understood.  If Tualoha is
unbound she goes mad and your odds of getting a message accross coherently are
slim (hence "much much less than one.")  If she is bound, then everything 
depends on HOW she is bound.  Explained later.  Note that bound gods cannot
be contacted, and if an opposite gate exists it sets up "static."

For magic, 1 means everything works, .5 means major arcana are unpredictable,
0 means everything is unpredictable.  Currently, white magic is at .5.

ORBS:  Orbs are keyed to the interactions between realms.  If there are no 
gates, the orbs don't work.  This is what the Ptaavs are working towards.

MADWANDS:  0 means they have their talents as written.  1 means they get
  "INTUITIVE MAGE III:  Contact a GM to cause a spell effect to occur."


oh, yeah: "+" means "it depends."  The binding ritual requires a 5th
rank or higher deva to be bound into the spell.  If the deva is of the god
being bound, by nature or by association, then the god is not completely
bound, but is rather quieted.  For Tualoha, this means she is fully awake
and functional and is a full-fledged Goddess, NOT INSANE.  For Chthon, it
means nothing (ie; if he is bound through a Chthonic vessel he remains the 
way he was, otherwise he is fully bound)
