Re:  Thompson project security leak

Actions and Reasoning

Seven inmates participating in the actual incursion into Warden
Central:

Norman of the Mountain
Bulbous of the Mountain
Manatee Et-Nazarene
Baranduin ("the Awfully Nice")
Uppendale ("the Excruciatingly Correct")
Alexander the Staid
Diddle ("the Only Slightly Dishonest")


Decisions made as to the disposition of each:

Norman of the Mountain - aka "the Oracle": extensive debrief followed
     by assimilation.  Norman is a six-year-old child who exhibits
     intelligence far exceeding that measurable by any of our testing
     methods.  We are so totally confounded by his abilities that we
     deem it absolutely necessary to bring him into the Galactic
     community. Details of his case to be presented to Department Head
     on request. 

Bulbous of the Mountain: extensive debrief followed by assimilation.
     Bulbous and Norman are extremely close.  Norman expressed extreme 
     misgivings about leaving Bulbous behind should he [Norman] be
     allowed to leave Asylum.  Bulbous exhibits strong leadership
     qualities and a sanity profile well within normal limits.

Manatee et-Nazarene: hypnotic removal of memories of incursion.  
     Currently holds the position of Holy Emir of Spirit in the 
     Banthrogf hierarchy (q.v.).  Our belief is that she does not 
     represent a further threat to Project security if separated from 
     the other principals in the incursion attempt.  This belief combined
     with the desirability of minimal societal disjunction leads to
     our decision. 

Baranduin: hypnotic removal of memories of incursion.  Similar
     reasoning to the above. 

Uppendale: extensive debrief followed by mind-wipe and
     reconstitution of current memories, minus references to the
     project.  Currently holds the position of Holy Emir of Air in
     the Banthrogf hierarchy.  We deem that his high social position
     necessitates returning him to the society.  His underlying
     personality represents enough of a threat to Project security
     that we cannot justify any less invasive solution.  His
     several-week absence from the society is to be told off as a
     pilgrimage (which will be corroborated by memories implanted in
     et-Nazarene and Baranduin).

Alexander the Staid: mind-wipe and white noise reconstitution.
     Currently does not hold a position warranting return.  His
     personality profile suggests enough danger to Project
     security to necessitate mind-wipe.

Diddle ("the Only Slightly Dishonest"): mind-wipe and white noise
     reconstitution.  Currently does not hold a position warranting
     return.


Priscilla Thompson: mind-wipe and white noise reconstitution.  Danger
of spreading information about the project to other inmates precludes
her further participation.  Danger of inciting unofficial expeditions
to Asylum precludes simple dismissal from current post.
