For the most part, the elves of Karadur are nomadic, living within the
forested regions of Central Karadur, an area known as the Elven Court.
The elves construct dwellings from the living trees of the forest, but
the population of each dwelling is entirely variable and for the most
part their locations are secret.

  There are three major elven shires, or dwelling-places:  Leldor
("growing place"), Lenyarin ("the place of naming"), and ** *** **
("the place of viewing sunsets").  

  Leldor has the largest average population of all the elven shires,
and is the oldest of them as well.  It is in Leldor that the elven
Council of Elders sits
