@chapter(The world)

 There are six major land-masses in the world: Clearstone Isle,
Karadur, Lelldorin, Neuvomond, Recjavik, and Terania.  There are also
innumerable islands and smaller land-masses, these are mostly
poorly-mapped, although experienced sailors are generally familiar
with them.  A region of ocean between South Karadur and Neuvomonde is
known as the Sailor's Steps because of the density of inhabited
islands along it.
