Sweetwater is perhaps the most unusual of all the Clans, in that most
of its "lands" are actually water.  Most of Sweetwater territory is in
the form of islands along the Sweetwater Bay, which makes up a part of
the Western border of the Clanlands.  The Sweetwaters are traders and
transport experts; they are responsible for most of the interClan
transport, and have been influential in the development of many trade
routes which have since become crucial to the war effort.  Clan
Sweetwater is also charged with the defense of the Clans from marine
attack, a charge they are best suited for -- no people are as at home
on the water.
