.SH DESCRIPTION
.I Getbuffer
indicates which buffers are enabled for writing.  \f31\f1, the
default, means that the back buffer is enabled, \f32\f1 means that
the front buffer is enabled, and \f33\f1 means that both are
enabled.  \f2Getbuffer\f1 returns 
.B 0
if neither buffer is enabled
or the IRIS is not in double buffer mode.
