Entering wireless device information

Depending on the calendar server you are connected to, you may be able to set wireless device preferences.

1. From the Tools menu, select Options, then select Agenda.

2. Select the Wireless Settings tab.

3. Enter your mobile device's phone number in the Mobile device number field.

4. Enter the type in the Mobile device type field.

5. If you choose to receive wireless notifications, use the Mobile notification type drop-down list to select the kind of notification you want to receive. You can receive wireless notifications in different ways:
   • Generic devices: Notifications can be received as text messages.

   • Nokia 6100/7100/8800/9200 Series: Notifications can be received as text messages, calendar notes or both.

   • Nokia 9000 Series: Notifications can be received as text messages or calendar notes.

If you choose to receive calendar notes, you can select the Enable mobile device alarms check box. This notifies Oracle Calendar to include a reminder within the calendar note.

You can also enter the phone number of your preferred service center in the Preferred service center number field.This information is optional, as any number entered here overrides your default service center information, which is the phone number that the wireless data server uses. You may want to leave this field blank.
