Locating a person
The Locate Person feature allows you to view what a user or resource has scheduled at a specific time, according to the viewing rights you were granted by the user. You cannot view information for which you do not have access rights.
- From the Tools menu, select Locate a Person.
- Enter the name of the user or resource you want to locate and click the Checkmark button. Resource names must be preceded by r:, re:, or res:. You can also click the Search button to search for the user or resource you want to locate.
- Select a date and time.
- If the user or resource is booked during the date and time you entered and you have full viewing rights for the entry, the title and location is displayed.
- If the user or resource is booked during the date and time you entered and you only have the right to view the time of the entry, the "Busy" message is displayed.
- If the user or resource does not have anything scheduled for the date and time you entered, the "Available" message is displayed.
