Setting a repeating Entry

(Agenda View | Edit | New | Meeting, Daily Note or Day Event | Repeating))

Click the Repeating tab in order to create additional instances of this Entry.

Use the features in the Repeating dialog to make the Entry occur on a regular basis.

  1. Set the frequency by choosing an option from the pull-down menu in the Frequency section. You can choose to repeat the Event Daily, Weekly, Monthly on date(s), Monthly on day(s) or Yearly. Depending on the option you choose, select a pattern of recurrence
  2. In the Start and end dates section, choose a start date.
  3. Set the end date. The Until option lets you enter the date directly in the date box. The For option lets you set a unit and interval of time (e.g. four weeks).
  4. In the Include section, select whether to include Saturdays, Sundays and/or Holidays in the recurrence pattern.
  5. If you are creating a Meeting, in the Conflicts section, decide whether you would like to display, suggest an altenative time for, or ignore scheduling conflicts.
  6. Click List dates to generate the instances of the Repeating Entry.
  7. Use the Additional date section to add instances to the Entry that do not fall within the pattern of recurrences you chose. Note: If you add additional dates and click List dates afterwards, your additional dates will be erased.
  8. Click Delete all to erase all instances of the repeating Entry. Click List dates to generate the instances of the Repeating Entry. Click Delete to erase only the highlighted instances of the repeating Entry.
